I have one child enrolled at Good Shepherd Early Childcare Center and he has been there for about 2 years. He absolutely LOVES the teachers and the friends he has made at his school. I am constantly amazed at how much he learns everyday! The staff there is so much more than staff, they are like extended family. It is obvious that they truly care about the children. I am so thankful that we found Good Shepherd Early Childcare Center. I recommend the center to anyone that values a true caring environment that allows your child to learn about the Bible and begin their education!
“We have had our two children at Good Shepherd Early Childhood Center for over a year. Our daughter has moved on to Kindergarten and was fully prepared for the wonderful curriculum Friendly Hills Elementary has to offer. In fact her first month there she received the “Writing Award” for her class. We concluded that the teachers at Good Shepherd were integral in her achievement.
However, I can’t stress enough what we value more, it is teaching our child to be “good, caring, and loving” individuals. We feel secure that Good Shepherd puts these qualities in the fore front and can display them in a religious light. My son who is currently enrolled comes home every day and I am amazed at his confidence in the world around him.
We were a little hesitant sending our children to a Lutheran school due to us being raised Roman Catholic and our children being baptized Roman Catholic. However, having them go to a Lutheran school has opened our eyes to a more loving, and caring God and Jesus. Our family has not once been discriminated against. It is amazing how the teachers put God in the schedule of the day and tell stories in such a loving manor. A way I couldn’t possibly have done.
